A client books an energy healing session with you.

They arrive, lie on your therapy table and agree to receive the treatment.

So you have consent, right?

Yes.

But not necessarily for everything.

They haven’t automatically consented to being touched anywhere on their body.

They haven’t consented to discussing deeply personal experiences.

They haven’t given you permission to interpret their emotions, relationships or past.

And they certainly haven’t handed over responsibility for their health or their decisions to you.

This is why consent, professional boundaries and ethics are every bit as important as the energy techniques we learn.
